Personalized Evaluative Approach

I believe effective psychiatric care starts with understanding the person behind the symptoms—not just assigning a diagnosis.

My evaluative approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. During the initial evaluation, I explore current symptoms alongside lifestyle factors, medical history, stressors, sleep patterns, past treatment experiences, and how symptoms are impacting daily life and functioning.

With nearly a decade of experience in correctional mental health, I understand that many individuals—especially first responders, healthcare workers, military personnel, and high-functioning adults—often spend years pushing through symptoms before seeking support.

My treatment approach combines clinical objectivity with genuine understanding. Treatment recommendations are evidence-based and tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, lifestyle modifications, and coordination of care when appropriate.

Meet Your Provider

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth psychiatric care for adults across California through Anchor Mental Wellness.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I originally pursued a career path in law enforcement, which gave me an early understanding of the unique pressures faced by first responders and individuals working in high-stress environments. I later transitioned into nursing and have spent nearly a decade working in correctional mental health, caring for diverse populations with complex psychiatric needs.

Coming from a family with strong military and public service values, I understand the culture of resilience, responsibility, and emotional endurance that is often expected of first responders, correctional professionals, military personnel, healthcare workers, and others in demanding careers. These experiences have shaped both my clinical perspective and my passion for supporting individuals who are used to carrying stress quietly while continuing to function at a high level.

My clinical focus includes ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. I also understand firsthand how ADHD and anxiety can impact academic performance, confidence, daily functioning, and overall quality of life. That perspective allows me to approach treatment with both clinical insight and genuine understanding.

Who I Work With

I work with adults seeking thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care for anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions.

I have a particular interest in supporting first responders, healthcare professionals, military personnel, and individuals working in high-pressure environments where stress is often normalized and emotional exhaustion can go unrecognized.

Many of my patients are high-functioning adults who are used to managing responsibilities for others while quietly struggling themselves.
